So to answer the question, it seems there is a shortage of designers because you see ton of people out there who can draw and you think they’re designers. But you actually want someone who is a smart, tech-savy, design eccentric genius. So yes, these people are hard to come by so I suggest once you find that person, you stick with that person and hope he/she can help you grow more of that person.
